We are delighted to announce that our supporters club is now being sponsored by Sky Recruitment Solutions and Capella Professional, both run by local entrepreneur David Torrington (seen here with Chloe Maudsley from the DIS).
This means that all new clients who use either of these companies to recruit employees will receive a 12-month membership of our supporters club paid for by David.
Chloe Maudsley, head of operations for DIS, said: “We are delighted that this package, generously sponsored by David’s companies, will bring more local businesses into the family of our supporters club where local businesses can be part of the exciting journey our athletes take to become world class.

David’s companies are also the preferred recruitment suppliers for DIS.
David said: “I first heard about DIS from my daughter, who swims at a high, competitive level in Derbyshire.
“My companies are proud to be Derbyshire-based and we aspire to perform at the highest level and showcase all that’s great about our county – everything that DIS is about. It seemed like a natural fit and we’re delighted to be helping raise awareness of how local businesses can help talented young athletes secure a place on the winner’s podium.”
Chloe added: “We are delighted to be working with David because his companies share our values. We both identify people with potential and nurture them to step into the roles that they were born to play.
“David offers a personalised service to businesses, as we offer a personalised service to each of our athletes. He shows genuine care for his own staff, his clients and people looking for their next career move. He listens and he gets the best out of people.”
David and Chloe previously worked together when they took part in a cycle challenge back in May that raised almost £4,500, which was split between DIS and Derby-based cancer support charity, Annabel’s Angels.
David was one of the team that completed a 200k sponsored cycle ride across Majorca while Chloe was one of the team cycling on static bikes in the UK.
