A fantastic season from Lucy Atkins was wrapped up in Dorset last weekend in the Dorset Under 16 Open where Lucy took Gold in the singles and the Doubles with her partner, and Bronze medal in the Mixed Doubles. This followed up recent successes in the Warwickshire U.16 champs where again Lucy was in the medals winning Singles and Doubles and managing to play an incredible 15 matches in one day!! A great year that saw many of our Girls make their International debuts, the future is bright as always for Derbyshire Badminton.
