Athlete conversations: Alex Knibbs

May 19, 2020

Alex Knibbs is a 400 metre hurdler who also won bronze for Great Britain at the 2018 IAAF World Junior Championships for the 4 x 400m relay.

He is the latest Derbyshire Institute of Sport athlete to share with us his thoughts on the COVID-19 lockdown and how he is continuing to train and stay motivated in these challenging times.

Alex, 21, has been backed by Derbyshire Institute of Sport for the past five years. At the time of filming he was isolating at home with his family, including professional footballer and twin brother Harvey.

Find out how that's going and what advice Alex has for anyone feeling the strain of lockdown. You can also watch our previous Athlete Conversation videos with Mia Slevin, Hannah Barnden and Jess Turner on the Derbyshire Institute of Sport YouTube channel.
